Abstract:

This essay explores Workforce and Health Education Management (GTES) within the SUS, focusing on its connection to changes in the labor landscape. It highlights the precarious nature of employment, characterized by unstable contracts, outsourcing, a lack of career planning, and regional disparities. The analysis traces the historical development of GTES policies, noting significant progress since their institutionalization but also setbacks driven by state reforms and austerity measures. While recent initiatives have aimed to enhance worker recognition, they remain inadequate in addressing deep-rooted inequalities and challenging working conditions. Strengthening the SUS requires policies that promote stability, improve working conditions, and foster a federative agreement to address regional disparities, ensuring equitable, high-quality healthcare for all.
